Bimal Roy's birth centenary on 12 July, 2009 is an appropriate time to attempt a critical review of the last decade of Hindi cinema.
Films designed with the deepest emotion and motivation can change the world’s perception about us; it can even change the world. They have to strike an invisible chord with the audience.
